Jaren's Mission to Bangkok, Thailand

  So this week is transfers and we still don't know. SORRY. Also our president is finishing his mission and the new president has a conference for us on Friday. I am grateful to know him. This week we have just been running around and everything has pretty much just gone in fast motion because when we aren't studying, teaching, or planning, we are trying our best to talk to people or be making calls. It's putting everything in fast motion. That's why you can feel the spirit so much as a missionary because you don't have to worry about what you should be doing.  Sister daa is still working on getting ready but shes definitely going to get there. It just might take a little longer than we thought. Most of our investigators are just progressing really slow.  I fell down the stairs this morning. It hurt really bad. haha.   Cool heading huh. Hello the world. It rained a great much this week and I have learned that when the rain is coming down in sheets, I just put all my stuff in a plastic bag and just go out and in about 5 seconds I could have just jumped in a river there would be no difference. I love it. The rain is great. I just don't like when is only rains a little. Its like if your gonna rain, RAIN.  We have a new investigator who's name is Brother dump. He is cool and plays soccer. He is willing to take and do commitments that we give him. We will see how good he is. He works as a manager at Pizza Hut. Sister Da is finally technically able to be Baptized, all we have to work on now is sabbath day observance and she will be ready for the 22 of July. She is so great I have been working with this girl for soooo long its insane. I think its really cool to see her progression from not really reading the Book of Mormon, to going full blown convert and a person willing to put Gods will over th...

  This week week we had stake conference on Saturday and Sunday. So we were able to go to that. Elder Evans spoke. It was good he pretty much was trying to get the point across that ministering is a 1 by 1 person thing that is motivated by love for the particular human being that you are called to watch over. This is something that we need as a church. Sometimes people get so caught up in working and the business of life, but sometimes at the end of the day everyone needs love in their lives. Everyone needs to help one another feel welcomed and loved in the church. Sometimes if someone is visiting the church or is coming back, all they need is for someone to walk over and ask them their name and sit with them. This might be more of the case where the church isn't as strong. but Back in Holladay Utah I didn't know their was missionary work to be done, because I never really knew what it was. But saying hi and inviting your neighbor out for ice cream. That is by all means mission...

  This week went by faster than a bullet out of a revolver. This week was filled with lots of member appointments and LA work and now this week we are going to be trying to just teach lots of investigators with members in every lesson so that we can strengthen the members and the investigators at the same time.  This past week was kind of a smudge on my memory but I think we will be having to give our fire investigator over. We figured out that he lives in the other missionaries area. So they will be getting a dater. This guy his name is yacht, has gone to every activity that the church has had since we met him, its been two weeks. We were in a lesson the other day and it was the second lesson with him and he just said that going to church made him want to be a better person and want to become closer to god. We weren't planning on it but I said one way we can do that is through Baptism. He will be Baptized on the 17th, and even though he is probably not in our ward. I am so gr...
