Weekly Letter to Mission President - 26 Feb 2018: President, Sorry, I forgot to write you last week. I think it was longer than that too. I have a lot to tell you. We were doing good in Ubon when I left, me and Sukyong had a lot of daters. I think like 5 or something like that. Our problem was that we were still working on getting them baptized. There was also this new investigator named gi and she was so sick and she is so open hearted. She is a single mom I think and she has a cute little baby who's name is manaw. She was almost waiting for a date when we gave it to her. Going to keep up with how that is going. But! Transfers! I honestly thought that me Elder Ridd and Sister Bingham were going to stay, I know its for good reasons but it just wasn't what I expected.I was a little apprehensive at first when the call said I was going to be in Bangkok and I am still getting used to how many people are in a block and what tsong taos and just getting around. But its cool I love t...

Hey what is UP? This morning I was told that I will be going to Apparently its sick and its in Bangkok, so no bikes for me anymore. Im gonna be walkin. Gonna miss them. I have not been in an area that has not had bikes thus far. New experiences! I will miss this area a lot. I will miss the members I will miss the amazing work that is happening in Ubon with LA and RC church attendance (this week we had a ton of those at church like 20 ,like total from all the missionaries here)  I will miss gan also. We visited him this past week and he is great, we got up early in the morning again and took a truck out there. had lunch with him and stuff. He lives in Det Udom. Very far. No song taos (trucks) go out very close to where he lives, so we biked that distance then we biked to meet an LA while we were out there which was even farther. so overall we bike about 30 kilos (like 18 miles) way fun! I will miss our Investigator Gi. We found her inviting in a neighborhood. She has a baby w...

This week we have been trying to get a lot of LA work in so we have been getting addresses from this app and trying to just find them and invite them to come back to church. And when it doesn't pan out we just invite. It's fun. Teaching English is one thing that I can do right now so I like it and I love yelling and making it fun. This week I directed like 50 people into playing this direction game and like set it up. Ages 8-50 was hard and tiring but I felt like I accomplished something after.  Then on Wednesday we went out in literally the middle of nowhere. Like we had to have her come meet us out at the closest road we could and Gan our daters mom came way out and with her moped showed us the way to her house. We traught Gan and he is great he takes a long time to think about stuff but he is sincere. Taught him the restoration again and ate on the floor with sticky rice as a utensil. Zone conference was good. Thursday and Friday were used for that. And we had training on th...

Hey you just gonna throw some highlights out there! Taught English by myself this week! That was fun I was with the kids so picture about 25 little kids in a big chair circle around a missionary who is yelling and waving his hands trying to teach English and throwing candy at the kids 🤙yeah. We did opposites. Then played uno at dinner with members after that. We finally finished the rusty sheet metal crappiest fence in the world on wednesday. I guess sister นวย said it was good so yeah. This random dude with tatoos and his shirt of in his front yard was fun to teach. He said he felt goosebumps when we prayed. Bother Akaniet said my Thai has improved a lot since I came here. You could pretty much say I was really happy for the rest of the day.  We have about 5 daters right now, we are reaching Gan now who was taught a lot already. He is the son of some members and he's like 17. Also จำเริญ jamrun our dater is cool but his grandson who was there a while ago when we taught and he has...
