Jaren's Mission to Bangkok, Thailand

  Hey all my friends and family who are all my friends also. This week we had some good stuff happening with members. We had a meeting with bishops family and another LA family who we have been working with forever and they finally made it to church yesterday YEAH. And then we had another LA return and two investigators at church one of them being Daa and the other this guys we met inviting and said he would love to come to church. We taught him after sacrament was over and he was so down to learn and understood everything well. Overall about fifty people at church this week, like ten above average. YAY. There are some things that once we have done all we can to try and help someone, at that point, All we can do is all we can do in that moment. And pray. I believe that this is the way to have a successful mission. Working hard at doing Gods will all the time. Then there is working hard and being really effective. I have the first mostly figured out. Hey everyone just wanted to give an update! This week was transfers and I'm staying in Samutbrakan and got another companion. Elder Brown moved to Buriram. The new companion is Elder Decker and he has been on his mission for a while. Hes cool. There fore I Have been here the longest out of the sisters and and us so I am the one who is supposed to know where everything is and know where all the trucks go and stuff. Its been cool. Sister Daa came to all of church yesterday and is the coolest person. Shes like already fasting and stuff when we didn't even tell her to. She will get Baptized soon. We met this one guy the other day whose name is Kiang and he was sitting on the benches when we found him by the river here and he said we can teach him. He met with us at the church and after we taught the restoration he said that he had never really gone to those benches before and he didn't really know why he did.   Weekly Letter to Mission President - 16 May 2018: Hey President! Thanks for everything! I am happy to be getting a new companion, and I'm excited to be getting a new friend. I am amazed at how much I have grown in what it feels like two weeks being with Elder Brown. Hes amazing. He is so good at being really obedient and helping those around him first. Very privileged and have thanked the lord everyday for him being my companion. I have had so much fun and have worked so hard with him. I have gotten a love for inviting from him. Sometimes for like seven hours at a time. Whenever we had free time. But yeah we have been lacking on progressing investigators so I think we're just going to focus on having constant communication with them. We're also going to try and meet with a lot more members. Hello fellas! Hope you are all having a fantastic Sunday night! I'm just gonna give a quick update on our work in Samutbrakan and then some weird funny stories. We had a family of four receive the gift of the holy ghost yesterday and they are great they are very connected to the ward with friends, they are actually family friends of our first counselor. They are here to stay. They have the faith for it. They read and pray as a family every night and individually even the kids are in like second Nephi in their personal reading. Honestly we didn't do a ton, they are just too awesome. We have started teaching the lessons over again. Sister Daa is going out of town and what the deal was with her is she had to either decide to get married or split with her boyfriend who she has a kid with. She has so much faith. Her end desire is to get baptized and to become a member. She teaches herself when we meet. She just pretty much talks and we give input, testimony and doctrine and help her...
