Samutbrakan

Hello fellas!

Hope you are all having a fantastic Sunday night! I'm just gonna give a quick update on our work in Samutbrakan and then some weird funny stories.

We had a family of four receive the gift of the holy ghost yesterday and they are great they are very connected to the ward with friends, they are actually family friends of our first counselor. They are here to stay. They have the faith for it. They read and pray as a family every night and individually even the kids are in like second Nephi in their personal reading. Honestly we didn't do a ton, they are just too awesome. We have started teaching the lessons over again. Sister Daa is going out of town and what the deal was with her is she had to either decide to get married or split with her boyfriend who she has a kid with. She has so much faith. Her end desire is to get baptized and to become a member. She teaches herself when we meet. She just pretty much talks and we give input, testimony and doctrine and help her figure out things by herself. Shes getting the marriage papers soon. And possibly switching work to be able to go to church. We invite whenever we have free time. I have never walked more in my life. One goal of ours this week was treat everyone we invite like a friend and get to know them before you introduce the gospel. You pretty much just end up having a better vision of how everyone has a story and how much the gospel can help everyone even if they don't accept it right now. In the end the Thai guy sitting on the sidewalk had a good uplifting conversation with a missionary of Jesus Christ. They will be more likely to talk to the next ones they see. This past Sunday one of the sisters investigators wanted me to be the person to baptize her. That was good.

Cool stories on the fourth we gave sister Dew a priesthood blessing cuz shes got ulcers on the fourth and it was cool. I got to say it. I blessed her to get better and have peace in her life. We went into this super crazy rich gated community and the security came and picked us up and they were super nice about it and were super surprised that the white dudes could speak Thai. So one of our LA's who is someone we have been trying to get back to church, who's dad is the pastor at this other Christian church invited us to go to that churches 50th anniversary party thing, so we thought we would go and just talk to people and see if we could get the LA to commit to go to church the next day. Turns out it was a legit SOUTHERN BAPTIST REVIVAL. In the middle of Thailand. The music was so loud and there was like a ton of people yellin hallelujah and stuff. I took a video. They had like a band and stuff. Overall I got pumped about Jesus but I didn't feel the spirit very well. That was just my personal take on it. Took a video.

Anyways Love you all!
