Jaren's Mission to Bangkok, Thailand

  We got some new people were working with this week and we're super excited because God is real and speaks to us if we just reach out to him. As in all we need to do is present doctrine, testify, and commit them to seek Gods will for them and he will answer them. He has promised it a million times in the scriptures. But anyways right now we are currently helping people do this.  We served alot this week we ended up spending a couple hours helping this old dude pull grass on two occasions and cleaned out a paralyzed man's house. Was so fun. Also we met with many an LA this week one instance was when we went and visited มันูญ who is a DEAD BODY Dresser, as in we walked in at his work and first thing we walk past is a fresh off the block dead guy. We sat down and while we were making small talk he politely excused himself, walked over, and we watched as he started pumping this dead guy full of formaldehyde.   I could give a large day by day list of things that happened this week... But above all we just grinded. We met with a large number of RCs and LAs. It is so nice because we have one member who doesnt have anything going on right now so he comes and finds LAs with us like everyday and helps us in lessons. He is very helpful. Also he speaks fluent English.  Met a new investigator this week, Pretty much the biggest success of us inviting everyday for like three or four hours. Were meeting with him again tommorrow, We met him on the street and he said he had gone to christian churches before. We taught him how to pray from his heart and not from a memorized prayer, and prayed with him and commited him to try praying this way on his own.  We had to go renew visas down in Bangkok for my boy Elder Hodson and also my homies Elder Davis and Mchworter are training also, was super pumped to see them. 7 hour bus rides are super greeeeaattt. I'm a Dad. Yeah so we got transfer calls and I'm training here in Surin. We went down and had a meeting with all of them and president assigned ELDER HODSON to come and serve with me in Surin.  So this past week has been lots of traveling and lots of trying to figure stuff out as in like getting Hodson oriented with phones and bikes and stuff.  Sister nui has been keeping our commitments and her faith is growing so much right now. She's currently looking for an answer about this church so we're helping her find that. We have a decent pool of investigators right now but we're currently trying to buff it up with new people, so we're doing a lot of inviting, and asking for referrals.  The ward is so great, the people are so welcoming and great.  God leads and directs us if we only seek for his guidance.   Weekly Letter to Mission President  - 08 Aug 2018: Hey president hope deciding transfers didn't tire you out too much! Thank you for trusting me enough to have me train this transfer. I am very excited. We have lots to do here and we're gonna be working hard. We have a couple progressing investigators that we are working with and one is looking for an answer about if this is what she needs to do and we are teaching a professor who has a family and is very interested in Christians. The members here are so nice and they are always helping us. Anyways I'm doing well. I'm happy.  *President Hammond: You will do great!
