You guys it actually happened! You guys these past eight weeks have flown by. If I am being honest I think that as necessary as the MTC is, I feel like I have been here long enough to were this is what missionary work is for me. But what the heck, I'm gonna just list off a bunch of blessings of the MTC. -Increased knowledge and appreciation for the savior... -Love for Pioneers and our legacy that we uphold -Independence from and happiness in the Family -Meeting wonderful people -Knowledge of Book of Mormon -Reality of the Godhead -Figuring out how the spirit speaks to me individually -Increased testimony in this church as having the only true and restored gospel on this earth -Makin me grow up a little.. (Shocking right?) -IMPORTANCE OF WHAT WE DO AS MISSIONARIES (Cudprason/Purpose) -Language and culture ED -Food...JK -My love for every single one of you people who suppport me has exponentially grown so much So yes I love the MTC but I'm not super sad about leaving. I just wa...

Two More Weeks in the MTC!

Hey everybody! Isn't that crazy!? I've got about two more weeks until our zone leaves for Thailand! Its so exciting! This week has been a great learning experience. I have learned so much here at the MTC. I think that it is very divinely inspired that we are able to come here and it is left mostly up to us what we want to use our four hours of free time for. We have to make the deliberate choice for ourselves to not just sit around and sleep or do unproductive things. It has taught me to take the time that I am given and to use it wisely. Not just studying whatever, but to have a plan and to follow it.  Along with being one of the hardest things that I have done it has forced me to grow so much. I realize now how I needed this experience. It has brought me closer to the spirit. If they would have just sent me out right of the bat or even three weeks into the MTC the result would be me being absolutely overwhelmed, and I know that will happen anyways but it will be more bearab...

Week Six in the MTC

Hey everybody! This week was really good! Nothing super crazy, but I am so grateful for all of the support I have received and and so happy to have all of you guys with me in spirit! We have taught a lot of lessons so far and new missionaries came into our zone! The will be speaking MONG which is a way weird language and they will be serving all over because there is no definitive country hat speaks Mong.  The days are kind of starting to blend together. I can feel myself progressing in the language however slow but I feel like it is coming. I just need to keep on studying a ton. One cool thing that happened this week was yesterday at TRC (we teach a Thai speaking member) We taught about trials and were really excited to get into the lesson, we got in to the first one and the lady was actually from Thailand. We started to teach her and we asked the question what is a trial to you? So we didn't ask anything specific, but she started out and said the were hard things we go through an...

Hello best friends and my fam, I sometimes don't feel like I deserve all the support that has been propelling me forward on this amazing adventure. So literally like fifty people I know are here and I've seen people from timberline, lone peak, elementary school and more. I even saw this one dude that I roomed with at EFY the first time I went. I have become a different person. I love how involved the savior is with the lives of every singe one of his children. I'll give ya a quick recap of this awesome week................. So we went to the temple last Tuesday and today and the Provo temple is so beautiful it also is really close to where (to those of you who know what I'm talking about) we started the fifty miler and I can see the trail where we started on. Wednesday through Friday were great we just had typical classes and Tuesday was the devotional, it was from this one guy who was a mission president and it just really got me excited to get out and start this thang...
