Week Six in the MTC
Hey everybody! This week was really good! Nothing super crazy, but I am so grateful for all of the support I have received and and so happy to have all of you guys with me in spirit! We have taught a lot of lessons so far and new missionaries came into our zone! The will be speaking MONG which is a way weird language and they will be serving all over because there is no definitive country hat speaks Mong.
The days are kind of starting to blend together. I can feel myself progressing in the language however slow but I feel like it is coming. I just need to keep on studying a ton. One cool thing that happened this week was yesterday at TRC (we teach a Thai speaking member) We taught about trials and were really excited to get into the lesson, we got in to the first one and the lady was actually from Thailand. We started to teach her and we asked the question what is a trial to you? So we didn't ask anything specific, but she started out and said the were hard things we go through and then shared that her husband had passed away from cancer. I have so much respect for that lady. The spirit was really strong, then elder greenwood, my companion was able to share with her how Joseph smith experienced a dark presence right before he saw god and how that can be us. He then was able to recite part of the first vision in Thai. then we both testified that god helps us through the trials and he doesn't give us anything we cant handle. Wont soon forget it :)
Alright until next week! Love you guys so much...
