Oh my goodness, it's been a month!
Hello best friends and my fam, I sometimes don't feel like I deserve all the support that has been propelling me forward on this amazing adventure. So literally like fifty people I know are here and I've seen people from timberline, lone peak, elementary school and more. I even saw this one dude that I roomed with at EFY the first time I went. I have become a different person. I love how involved the savior is with the lives of every singe one of his children. I'll give ya a quick recap of this awesome week.................
So we went to the temple last Tuesday and today and the Provo temple is so beautiful it also is really close to where (to those of you who know what I'm talking about) we started the fifty miler and I can see the trail where we started on. Wednesday through Friday were great we just had typical classes and Tuesday was the devotional, it was from this one guy who was a mission president and it just really got me excited to get out and start this thang. On Saturday its always fun because we have class and then we have exercise time at the end of the day and we go up to the field to play spike ball and the usual stuff. Sunday was great me and elder Greenwood taught priesthood on the creation and the fall I took up a lot of the creation because that is one of my favorite things. I gave experiences about the infinite ecosystems and natural occurrences that have to run smoothly for this world to even spin on its axis the notion that this world just became, does not resonated with me on any level. I was able to share my experiences alone in nature and that was really cool to me. This world is a huge testament of gods love for us, I love feeling that. Also Monday was great. Our district got to help out with the tours which has been one of my favorite things so far. We got to be the last presentation of the tour, so we would invite each group into the room (each group was about 60 people) and I would introduce myself and then bear my testimony on the MTC and how it helped me, then my comp would turn the video on and after we would invite them to leave and stuff. I got to do that like four or five times, then we would switch off with the other companionship in the hall where we would just wait with the guests while they were waiting for the video. I got to have the privilege of getting to know so many people and hopefully brighten their days. New pictures kind of? haha also on sundays they have movies and everyone dies over them because they are our only movies. Everyone wants to always see the same movie so getting seats is very hard to get but the movies are pretty good.
So grateful for the opportunity to be able to do something this enriching and being able to take part in building Zion and Heavenly Fathers kingdom here on earth!!!!!
Miss the lot of ya,
Elder English
