You guuuuuuyys!!! Great things comin! so this week was the first week that there was no traveling and going to places that are like five hour bus rides. So we just put our heads down and pretty much invited all week. We went to this park that is really peacful a bunch we went to this festival called nang goy kai (banana festival) wich was waaaaaaaay cool were going today because we saw so much cool cheap stuff to buy. We invited there and pretty much knocked on a bunch of doors and talked to a ton of people. Its great. Sometimes they just look at you funny and act like your not there then you just laugh at them and pretty much put the inviting card in their hand. But there are the people who politely listen and thats the the point that makes it worth it, even if it doesnt end up in us gaining a potential investigator. Another thing is just the amazing feeling of teaching someone the true and restored gospel for the first time. To teach someone who doesn't even know who jesus is about the atonement is something you can really only feel as a missionary. Its cool.

We found this old dude at the park named Paa Ompon, hes fire we meet him twice and gave him a book of mormon and told him to pray about it. were meeting again on thursday. Paa Deng who is great but has a hard time keeping commitments and sister mae and Paa day and a bunch of other numbers that are promising. Its just after a baptism and a couple investigators dropped so we are sort of restarting out area. So a ton of great things will be happening in the next couple weeks!

It rained a toooooooon. Its the rainy season so at any point of the day we can be blindsided and soaked, but thats the funnest thing! I know I'm gonna get sick of it eventually but right now I just am in amazement how much water can come down at a time.

I've learned so much about hard work this week. We did a ton of inviting and that resulted in us having potential investigators wich makes me happy. Also about a week ago our house was the dirtiest thing that I have ever seen. I dont wanna even describe it to you. I dont think it had been cleaned before. IT WAS BAD. I kinda was freaking out about it for the first week, and I just said like were cleaning this and anderson agreed. There isnt air conditioning anywhere in the house except for two rooms, study room, and bedroom. I dont think I ever sweat more. So we took about three days and spent like three hours cleaning it each day. It was fun. And its done now and Im so happy. I can think so much better. We also found like four thousand Thai yugioh cards.

I guess I just challenge whoever to always be staying busy and having something to do because an idle mind is the devils workshop. Its just nice because When I am just staring outside or being idle I start to think of home and skiing and rollerblading, and thats good but it distracts from what I'm doing here.

Couldnt ask for better friends and family you guys are the BEST! I feel your prayers pushin me forward! love you all!!!!!!

Would you mind throwin dis on the email list? thaaaanks

Weekly Letter to Mission President - 25 Sep 2017: Hey president! this week we worked really hard and went inviting most of the week because we didn't have any other investigators lined up for baptism after paa thoi and we are starting up a new wave right now its gonna be great! Its really cool that you paired me with elder Anderson and I realize now why you did it. He is an inspiration to me, for what he has gone through and what I am going through and what we can relate to one another. Thanks for being mindful of that. That issue that we talked about has been on my mind a lot but I often find so much peace in the scriptures and reading about the sons of mosiah. They were superstars man! Also we cleaned the house wich took about four days of doing as much as we could after hours on sundays and when we had extra time. It looks worlds better and I feel better just by having a clean place. Elder English
