Daily Breadsies
So yeah! This week on Tuesday there was this guys who showed up to english class, and it was one of the people that I invited Wednesday! Yay! he actually understood me and he brought two younger girls with him. His name was peter. We got his number and he is interested in religion so pretty pumped about that. On wednesday I was in the bathroom alot, while we were inviting, I got my first case of really hot like burning you know what. But that is behind me now haha. Get it. Then we had district meeting and talked bout the conversion of our investigators starts with the book of Mormon, or at least plays a huge part. Then invited and got three numbers. also we met with an investigator who is a professor that teaches about religion at the college and he was way down to study but not down to pray, hopefully one thing leads to another ;). Switched off with Elder Sukyong on friday. He is a Thai native so I could only speak limited english. He helped me alot. I had a picture with him and hes a baller. We also played Thai yougioh the night before with them. So was pretty in the dark but it was so fun!
GENERAL CONFERENCE... haha I think that I listened to this general conference ten times more than any other year. We got a massive amount of snacks from seven for cheap. Then watched 6 hours straight on Saturday, and 4 hours on Sunday. Took tons of great notes. These men are ordained of god and made to be apostles through him. they are incredibly in tune with the spirit. I think it would be wise to always have that as a goal. And to not forget about it in the daily rush of our lives.
Played basketball and ran on the track this morning. Yup #thailandpdays There are a ton of ruins here hopefully Ill get some pictures soon.
Love you people to death... Elder English
EMAIL FROM MOM: Ok- Check off sending family pictures, is that ok if they are in your drive for now? I will send physical copies eventually:) Hope today was fun. We are really cooling down here. It was 74 today but we have been mostly in the 50's. The fall leaves are all out and we hope we don't get snow. Maybe this year will be a terrible snow year because you are gone so you wont miss out on skiing! Oh well you have your whole life to ski! how cool is that that you get to be in Thailand. That is really a cool thing. When will you get to live in Thailand and serve the lord after this? maybe when you are 60?
Weekly Letter to Mission President - 09 Oct 2017: Hey president! Very excited to be here, especially when I got to listen to the talks, very blessed that I got to watch them in English even though it would have been good language study, I got a lot more out of it spiritually. We have six daters right now and I think about four investigators, Very happy that I can be a part of their conversion and for heavenly father blessing us with these people to teach. I am doing really well, sometimes I have a hard time focusing... and I kinda know that it sorta has to start with me to make it better, its just hard to not start thinking about skiing or rollerblading or family and friends. Its not homesickness because I think homesickness is when you feel like you miss them a lot and you feel sad. I feel happy when I think of them. Anyways still blown away how lucky I am to be out here doing this! Elder English
