Tukiye

This week was very good. Had some of the best food ever just about everyday I love it! I Dont have too much to report on haha. I guess I'm just getting used to all the crazy stuff I see. But This week During weekly planning I made it a goal to talk to Five people a day. And I can do it! I just have a very limited vocabulary so its just like. Do you know Jesus? Do you want to learn more about him? Or like have you seen us before? Haha then unless they say they are interested most of the time I stare blankly and hand them the card. Its pretty exhilarating. But it gets all tingly in your chest before you do it haha. Kind of like before you hit a Ski jump you just have a ton of adrenaline. Haha they all think I'm crazy :) But thats pretty justified considering I'm the only white person for like thirty miles. And Im wearing way nice clothes.

The members are getting ready for a halloween party this next week and they all joke that I should be dracula for halloween because I'm so white. I have darkened up a lot tho. Gempheng phet Is one of the hottest areas in Thailand.

Anderson got sick on Friday so we stayed I'n and I memorized the first vision in Thai! yay! I had a ton of study time that day. But miraculously I didnt get sick! I read in Helaman 5 Last night... Haha I don't know, go check it out its a fire chapter. I hate tryin to interpret scriptures from my opinion because everyone gets something different out of it. Anyways you guys are the people I love the most! Also Tukiye is a type of Gecko and its huge and they are really scary savages like they hiss and bite.

Weekly Letter to Mission President - 23 Oct 2017: Hey President! Just wanted to let you know that I'm grateful to be working here in Kempaeng Phet another cycle. I have been trying to focus on loving the people and here its really easy because there are like twenty members. They are very welcoming.I love inviting. I've made it a goal to talk to 5 people when we go inviting for like an hour or so. A lot of people in KPP haven't seen the missionaries before so they don't reject you right off the bat. Most of our daters and progressing Investigators are member referrals. This goes to show how important those are. I think on my mission I have been thinking that once I figure out all my problems I will just be good and I have just in a way been looking fore-ward to that single day when it will all be lifted off me and I will just have happiness all the time when I work. I've learned that its probably going to be more gradual. Anyways, just what it has all come down to is missions are all about love, I need more of it and we all do. Elder English
