WHAT?

So... this week was transfers, as you all probably guessed from everyone elses emails. Got them yesterday on the bus ride home from Phitzanulok... I'm going to be going to UBON which is in the eastern part of Thailand, so opposite side from where Gempheng is. I also will be companions with elder Sukiyone who is from Thailand and Speaks Thai but is pretty good at English. Just not his first language. Sukiyone used to be in our district my first transfer here. In fact, I went on a switch off with him too so I know him a little bit. I hope it helps me with my language haha.

We went to Bangkok last week to foreward my visa, saw most of my MTC group there! that was fun. They are all doing great! Love them so much. We also bought SmartPhones I got the J7 pro. We will get them next transfer. They need to put safegaurds on all of them I guess. Had an interview with president and then we got on a 145 (like five dollars) baht train that night to go to Phitzanulok for Thanksgiving and district meeting. That was and interesting experience... Lets just say we nicknamed it platform nine and hindquarters. It also left 2 hours late. Then we had thanksgiving! Mashed potatoes grilled chicken and pie. Couldn't have asked for more! Then we had a switch off the next day with Bjarnsen and Elder Siebert. I went with Bjarnsen. Hes from sait george and is ripped. He was like a hard core rock climber. But, we found this family in this shack and taught them a little... then like four newborn puppies came out of the house and they were the cutest things. Then we had dinner at a members house. The next morning we went home and worked in our area finally and visited some less actives.

Sunday was great! there was a little girl that we approved for baptism and she was baptized at this really cool reservoir that I want to come back to. She was so cute. One of the members did it. we took pictures and disclaimer: I ate a really hot prick like thirty minutes before the pictures and threw it all up ten minutes after. Thats why i look so dumb. Haha that day was great. Then district meeting was Tuesday and I got transfer calls after that so yeeeeeeet.

Miss you guys so much. Hope your enjoying the SnOw uhhh I miss it. Still love you though!

Weekly Letter to Mission President - 29 Nov 2017: Hey president! Super happy and excited and nervous about moving but mostly just pumped for new experiences. I know it will be really fun. Sukiyone is a great guy and I am exited to learn from him. This week has been great its crazy how much you can grow to love people you don't understand. There is one of our investigators who we serve about twice a week and even though most of the time I have no idea what he is saying I was getting all teary eyed when we said goodbye because we guessed that I was moving kind of. The members here also they are so fantastic as I have told you. I'm going to have to make a transition but that is what missions are about I think. Stepping outside your comfort zone. Sad that I wont be here for our daters baptism though. She is great. -Elder English
