In Thailand...

Last P-day was really great. It was Christmas so it was pretty special. Also the fact that we went to watch one of the most amazing sunrises that I have seen. That was way fun. After that classic was we taught English class and that was the first lesson that me and Elder Sukyong had with our new investigator who was a referral. His name is Mickey. Hes a was chill guy and we have taught him three times since then. Hes about our age. His dad is in a coma and we have gone to see his dad twice. We taught Him the restoration on Friday. He had been really praying and he is definitely actually looking for truth. That lesson was fantastic it was on his front porch so it was really quiet and I knew he felt the Holy Ghost. He is progressing really well and came to church this Sunday. Very excited about him.

Saturday was kind of a hard day for me. I got in a bike accident the day before so I was sore and we had to bike everywhere. I was tired, I kind of got frustrated, Everything kind of just went wrong that day haha. BUT we ended up having an appointment with sister Ud and she committed to a baptismal date! I guess the blessings come after you work hard!

This week we had a really funny party for new years and there was this Kareoke machine (that I couldn't use) and we all sat on mats and made our own meat and cooked it in this big pot or on a community grill sort of thing. That was way fun. Today we sort of just went around and visited this amish market and I bought chopsticks and this sweet sweater.

There is something that every missionary knows, and its that you can only talk, preach to or coax an investigator so much, but what it comes down to is that person has agency and which means they have to actually do it and find out for themselves.

Everyone is like this. Anyone who really wants to know that this work is true is through the efforts of that individual. You have to try. The second you are willing to have that faith, god will answer you and will start to gradually make you better and he will give you that knowledge of the truth.
