Letter from Mom

 From mom: Hello!

So was it transfers this week? I am heading out in a minute to meet Elder Hodsons mom for lunch. I am excited to meet her and talk about you both and what you are doing out there. It is so fun to know that you both have so many connections.

How was last week?

Are you enjoying your area still?

Do you get to ride a bike everywhere still?

How far do you ride each day?

Is the food in Surin as good as everywhere else you have been?

What is the best part about your mission right now?

What is the hardest part about your mission right now?

I just got back from lunch. Elder Hodsons mom is so nice. We had a great time! I am so glad we could get to know each other. All of our kids are similar ages. Except Jameson of course.  Will you add her to you mission emails? Just get the email address from elder Hodson.

This last week, Jayce went to Homecoming. It was his first date. I took the pictures of course. He was one of the only ones who could drive. We let him take the 4runner. That was the first time he drove it. We all said a bunch of prayers that he wouldn't wreck it or ding it. He did great (I think). He took a girl named Paige Larsen. She is in our stake. I added a picture of them. Jameson had his first soccer game. He actually did really well for first time. He was really agressive and not too agressive if you know what I mean. He tried and was pretty good at blocking. Jayce won his game this week in football and that is pretty much our week. I am still planning on getting you all the info to apply for BYU and BYU hawaii. I will keep working on that.

Life is good. I love my missionary and I love the pictures you put in there. Keep working hard and having fun.

Lots of love, MOM

To mom, from jaren: last week was good we translated for this LA thai to english and she had us record my voice for this big presentation haha. Were both staying and yes Im so happy because I get to se alot of things through here. Yeah we ride our bikes everyday for probs about ten miles. In surin its just as good every place you go to usually has pretty similar foods. Its all just stir fry on rice. Best part about my mission is the people that I am close with and the relationships that I have gained with people. And just realizing that I can do all this stuff with the lords help. Hardest part is having someone who is so close to being baptized and they are just holding back a little even though they know it is true.
