CRAZY WEEK BOYZ

Hey everyone! So this week's email ill just write like six mini stories if thats chill...

1. Rat from the ceiling

So one day we taught an investigator and his friends and then he wanted to pay for our lunch and so he takes us to the food court at big c (pretty much walmart of thailand) and we were eating when all of the sudden something fell from the ceiling and then we looked down and it was a rat, twitching and like probably dying and everyone was freaking out haha... then it got up and like scampered away...

2. Free food temple

There was a buddhist temple that was having a party with a bunch of free food so that they could get blessings from buddha. So we went and ate a ton of way good thai food.

3. Church and the family

While on the way to the free food remple we met this guy and his kids at his house and we invited him and them to come to church. He came with them and his grandpa. They stayed three hours and we taught them after church. Way cool. Want them to progress so bad!! We are seeing them tomorrow night.

4. Taught in Chinese

One of our investigators is chinese and we have given him a chinese book of mormon. Hes read a ton in it so we called a member who lives in bangnaa and so we called her in. She translated us back and forth and she shared her testimony. We taught him how to pray and that God is our Father in Heaven. He said he would pray everyday. His name is Thomas haha

5. Got invited to Gay Guys House

This guy met the elders before me and they got an appointment with him. He wanted to feed us really bad apparently. It was just super funny cuz he was a nice guy and fed us a ton. It was just super obvious that he was gay and wasnr interested in our message that we shared after haha... 

6. Fit First

Two PI's that are referrals invited us to go and see their huge promotion of their fit first thing its like a fitness program. And it was way hyped up there was a ton of like stuff but we couldn't stay long they are pretty cool.

Elder English

Weekly Letter to Mission President- 12 Nov 2018: Hey were doing well this week we have had a ton of success with inviting, there are a lot of people ready to hear our message. And this week we had a good number of investigators at church. Elder Kearsley is an extremely good missionary and has a great desire to be diligent. He is very capable. Our branch presidency is doing really well and is working smoothly. They work hard. We're doing good here. Elder English

President Hammond: I'm so excited to hear your report. I really hope Chiang Rai can blossom to be a strong branch and soon to be a ward! You will have a part to play in that. Keep up the finding fire!
