Hey everybody sorry I have been bad at sending these out recently, well so these past couple weeks have been sort of hectic... at the start of last transfer I was in Chiang Rai which is the farthest city up north from bangkok and it take 12 hours to get to by bus. I love and will always miss that place. It is beautiful. So half of the transfer goes by and then on a switch off with the zone leaders (who was Elder Ference from high school) I get a call from President asking if I would be willing to be emergency transferred down to bangkae bangkok to replace one of the zone-leaders down there who was sick. I was sooooo surprised it was crazy, and then so the next day I packed up and left for bangkok. I got there and I was with Elder Byers from the MTC and hes a wizard we loved being with each other, one time we played slap tennis together for so long that our hands were swollen for like two days... but were still tight. Hes great. So that happened halfway through the transfer, and so three weeks goes by and actual transfers comes. Guess what, I get moved again! I did three weeks in an area. That is pretty hard to beat. I honestly wasnt even there haha. I got moved to ดอนเมือง to be a zone leader, sorry the romanized spelling is horrible. Which is in Bangkok. I love it here, and I am with a Thai companion his name is Elder Aekniran. Its lit. Hes a wizard at teaching and finding. We find so much people. So that brings us to now, this past week was hectic just because zone conference, we figured out the food, conducted the meeting, did some training with president and the assistants and it was great. We got indian food!!! It was sooo soo so good. We trained on teaching according to needs, and introducing the book of mormon. It was fun. But now today is p-day and were just chillin and were in a house with two other elders so its sooo fun. A funny story from this week is when we were teaching this family yesterday and at the beginning they asked us what countries we were from (the whole time Elder Aek was speaking fluent Thai cuz hes Thai) and i said america and aek asked her to guess, and shes like Philippines. And then hes like no no Im Thai and shes like no no, and so then we just go on with the lesson and towards the end of the lesson just out of the blue she was like "your definitely from the philippines" and I just started laughing I couldn't hold it in. We got a return appointment doe. So yeah Love all you wizards.
Weekly Letter to Mission President- 18 Mar 2019: Hey president, I hope your day is going fantastic. So this week was really good I am more and more amazed at Elder Egnirans teaching skills every day he really is good. He is going to be missed when he leaves. SO our stake has this new movement that they are pushing for. They want us to be able to hold on to our RCs and start now, so that the LA cycle starts to diminish. We took the 17 RCs in our area and we all (the stake president, the relief society and the elders quorum) figured out their needs in becoming more converted. I think that this is a very important thing to keep with our RCs... Well I am doing well, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to serve these people and the missionaries around me. Thanks for all you do. Elder English
