Jaren's Mission to Bangkok, Thailand

  This week was packed full of just stuff! WOW.  I got a new haircut last P-day and I don't think it is against the rules but its like shaved on the sides and long on the top and the lady that did it thinned it out a ton so it sticks up really far and I look hipster so its funny BUT the lady had so much fun with it that she did it for cheap. She like styled it and everything haha. After that we went to the church and had FHE with the members, they had me play a bunch of Thai songs on the guitar and we all sang em, good time. The members here are literally the nicest people they make my day. Our dater แมย (May) is doing great she already is friends with a lot of people in the ward, and she is progressing well we are teaching her the commandments. Wednesday we went to Thang Moo's grandparents house again were she lives. We did some service. It was really fun the grandpa had us water all the Lime trees he had witch was a lot.   This week was very good. Had some of the best food ever just about everyday I love it! I Dont have too much to report on haha. I guess I'm just getting used to all the crazy stuff I see. But This week During weekly planning I made it a goal to talk to Five people a day. And I can do it! I just have a very limited vocabulary so its just like. Do you know Jesus? Do you want to learn more about him? Or like have you seen us before? Haha then unless they say they are interested most of the time I stare blankly and hand them the card. Its pretty exhilarating. But it gets all tingly in your chest before you do it haha. Kind of like before you hit a Ski jump you just have a ton of adrenaline. Haha they all think I'm crazy :) But thats pretty justified considering I'm the only white person for like thirty miles.   Yay this week! Was pretty hectic, Had zone conference which was weird, there was like two people who finished their missions and were giving their end testimonies and they both pretty much just said like don't you dare miss a moment of it. Hit me pretty hard. I think that's some good advice, for missions and life I guess. It's pretty much scripturally backed up that were here to experience everything and that we should always try our best to be happy. Haha like your never gonna get that moment that you just experienced back.   The zone leaders and all the missionaries there were are literally all ballers. Makes me want to be better. The next day me and elder Anderson went inviting and he had the impression to go down this road that we don't go down usually and there was a neighborhood.   So yeah! This week on Tuesday there was this guys who showed up to english class, and it was one of the people that I invited Wednesday! Yay! he actually understood me and he brought two younger girls with him. His name was peter. We got his number and he is interested in religion so pretty pumped about that. On wednesday I was in the bathroom alot, while we were inviting, I got my first case of really hot like burning you know what. But that is behind me now haha. Get it. Then we had district meeting and talked bout the conversion of our investigators starts with the book of Mormon, or at least plays a huge part. Then invited and got three numbers. also we met with an investigator who is a professor that teaches about religion at the college and he was way down to study but not down to pray, hopefully one thing leads to another ;). Hey guys! Whats up? So its been a month, The routine is coming! yay! Im not saying im fluent but I did understand like five words this sunday, hahah. I actually kind of undertood! I was happy about that and it made yesterday pretty good. But yeah this week has been really great! Still doing a ton of inviting and yeah.  A little miracle that I forgot to tell you about like maybe a week ago was while we were looking for a place  to cut elder andersons hair, we went to like five places the first nobody there, even after us yelling a bunch, the next one there was nobody there, the third one we walked into and then just walked out cuz there was porn all over the walls, and then when we asked this lady on the street if there was any more hair places, the lady said to go around the corner.
